Saint-Jean-de-Luz, France (Sports Network) - Azahara Munoz closed with a 5- under 65 on Sunday to come from behind and win the Ladies Open de France.
Munoz finished her second Ladies European Tour title at 14-under-par 266.
The Spaniard flew into the lead on the front nine at Chantaco Golf Club. She birdied the second and fourth to move to 11-under. Munoz birdied three of the last four holes on the front side.
Around the turn, Munoz parred the first five holes before a birdie at the 15th moved her to minus-15. She was two clear of the field at that point, but tripped to a bogey on the 17th to trim he winning margin to one.
Gwladys Nocera and Valentine Derrey both closed with 3-under 67s to share second at 13-under 267. Nocera and Derrey, the third-round leaders, both were bogey-free on the front side. Nocera had four birdies in a 5-hole span from the fifth to turn at minus-14. On the back nine, she had two bogeys and a birdie to end two behind.
Derrey birdied the second, then matched Nocera's birdies at five, six, seven and nine to make the turn with the lead at 15-under. Derrey stumbled to back- to-back bogeys at 13 and 14 to finish two back.
Joanna Klatten (68) ended alone in fourth at minus-12, while Karine Icher (64) and Lee-Ann Pace (68) shared fifth at 10-under 270.
