Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Dressed in a sea of red, the raucous crowd at Arrowhead Stadium set another Guinness world record. And then the Kansas City Chiefs used the surge from their fans to decimate Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Jamaal Charles returned from a sprained right ankle and scored three touchdowns as the Chiefs routed the Patriots, 41-14, on Monday night. Charles carried the ball 18 times for 92 yards and added three receptions for 16 yards for Kansas City (2-2), which raced out to a 27-0 third-quarter lead and never looked back in its second straight win after an 0-2 start. The Chiefs' fans reclaimed the record for loudest outdoor sports venue in the first half. Their noise level of 142.2 decibels broke the 137.6 mark that the Seattle Seahawks faithful set on Dec. 2. Kansas City previously set the record on Oct. 13. Alex Smith completed 20-of-26 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns, Travis Kelce had eight receptions for 93 yards and a score and Knile Davis posted 107 yards on 16 totes in the triumph. New England failed to crack the 300-yard barrier for the third time in four games after doing it just four times last season. The Patriots totaled 290 yards. Brady was 14-of-23 for 159 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions and Brandon LaFell caught six passes for 119 yards and a score for the Patriots (2-2), who suffered their worst defeat since losing to San Diego 41-17 in 2005.

Final Score: Baltimore 38, Carolina 10

Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Steve Smith Sr. talked a big game leading up to his first bout with his former team and the veteran receiver delivered, hauling in two touchdown passes to help the Baltimore Ravens crush the Carolina Panthers 38-10 on Sunday. Joe Flacco completed 22-of-31 passes for 327 yards and three scores for Baltimore (3-1), winners in three straight following a Week 1 loss to Cincinnati. Smith, who spent his first 13 seasons with Carolina, took jabs at his former quarterback Cam Newton leading up to the game but backed it up by making seven catches for 139 yards while Newton was subpar for a second straight week. Playing through various injuries, Newton threw for 197 yards and a touchdown on 14-of-25 passing, but struggled in the second half as the game got away from the Panthers (2-2). Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro split the carries for Baltimore and combined for 124 yards with one touchdown apiece. Carolina's DeAngelo Williams left the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury. He and Darrin Reaves gained only 60 total yards on 23 carries.

Final Score: Green Bay 38, Chicago 17

Randall Cobb had 113 yards on seven receptions with two touchdowns and Jordy Nelson hauled in 10 passes for 108 yards and two scores. Eddie Lacy finished with 48 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown for the Packers (2-2), who avoided their first 0-3 start on the road since dropping their first four in 2005. Jay Cutler passed for 256 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for Chicago, which has lost eight of its last nine meetings with Green Bay. Marcellus Bennett had a monster game in defeat, catching nine passes for 134 yards. Matt Forte ran for a season-high 122 yards on 23 carries, while Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery each caught touchdown passes.

Final Score: Houston 23, Buffalo 17

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - J.J. Watt came up with the play of the day, a tide-turning 80-yard interception return touchdown early in the third quarter that spurred the Houston Texans to a 23-17 win over the Buffalo Bills. The Texans trailed 10-7 at halftime and were in danger of falling behind further after Buffalo linebacker Nigel Bradham intercepted Ryan Fitzpatrick deep in Houston territory to start the third quarter. The Bills got down to the Texans 12 when Watt snuck into the flat and made a spectacular one-handed grab of E.J. Manuel's short pass attempt, then raced untouched all the way to the end zone for the momentum-shifting score. Later on, Darryl Morris picked off Manuel with just over a minute left to seal Houston's fourth 3-1 start in the past five seasons. Randy Bullock helped keep the Bills at bay by booting three second-half field goals, including a career-long 55-yarder. DeAndre Hopkins hauled in a 35-yard touchdown pass earlier from Fitzpatrick, who shook off a pair of interceptions to put up 268 yards on a 25-of-37 completion rate. Manuel threw a pair of touchdown passes, including an 80-yarder to Mike Williams in the fourth quarter, but made good on just 21-of-44 attempts for 225 yards. Fred Jackson finished with six catches totaling 52 yards for Buffalo (2-2), dealt a second straight loss after a promising 2-0 beginning.

Final Score: Indianapolis 41, Tennessee 17

Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Andrew Luck threw four touchdown passes for the second straight week, leading the Indianapolis Colts to a 41-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Luck completed 29-of-41 passes for 393 yards and an interception for the Colts (2-2), who have won two straight games. Luck was also sharp in last week's 44-17 rout of the Jaguars. Trent Richardson carried the ball 20 times for 47 yards and a score for Indianapolis, which has won nine in a row against AFC South opponents. Reggie Wayne caught seven passes for 119 yards and one touchdown, while T.Y. Hilton hauled in six passes for 105 yards. With Jake Locker (wrist) out, Charlie Whitehurst connected on 12-of-23 passes for 177 yards, one touchdown and an interception for the Titans (1-3), who have lost three in a row. Final Score: Detroit 24, NY Jets 17

East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - Matthew Stafford had two touchdown passes and ran for another score, as the Detroit Lions took a 24-17 win over the New York Jets on Sunday. Stafford went 24-for-34 for 293 yards and had touchdown passes to Jeremy Ross and Eric Ebron for the Lions (3-1), who have won their past two games. Star Detroit receiver Calvin Johnson was hobbled by an ankle injury throughout the game and was never a factor, catching just two passes for 12 yards. Geno Smith was 17-for-33 for 209 yards with one touchdown, one interception and one lost fumble for the Jets (1-3), who have lost three straight games -- all to NFC North opponents.

Final Score: Miami 38, Oakland 14

London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - If Ryan Tannehill's status as Miami's quarterback was questioned this week, he came up with some answers for head coach Joe Philbin as the Dolphins rolled to a 38-14 victory over the Oakland Raiders Sunday at Wembley Stadium. Philbin wouldn't officially commit to Tannehill as the team's starter during the week, as the Dolphins (2-2) followed up a stirring season-opening win against New England with subpar efforts in losses to Buffalo and Kansas City. Tannehill's performance on Sunday should quiet any rumors of backup Matt Moore taking over. Miami's first-round pick in 2012 completed 14 straight passes at one point Sunday, finishing the contest 23-of-31 for 278 yards with a pair of touchdowns and an interception on a deflected pass. Lamar Miller ran for 64 yards with two touchdowns and the Miami defense was brilliant after allowing a touchdown on Oakland's first series. The Dolphins picked off three passes and returned a fumble for a score. Raiders rookie quarterback Derek Carr completed 16-of-25 passes for 146 yards with a touchdown and an interception before exiting the contest in the third quarter with a knee injury. Matt McGloin took over and threw for 129 yards with a touchdown and two picks as the Raiders (0-4) suffered their 10th straight defeat dating back to last year. Oakland is winless after four games for the first time since an 0-5 start in 2006.

Final Score: Tampa Bay 27, Pittsburgh 24

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Embarrassed a week ago, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rallied late to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24 at Heinz Field. Mike Glennon threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Vincent Jackson with seven seconds remaining in the fourth quarter as Tampa Bay picked up its first win of the season. Glennon, playing in place of Josh McCown (right thumb), was 21- of-42 for 302 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Louis Murphy caught six passes for 99 yards for the Buccaneers (1-3), who were clobbered 56-14 in Atlanta 10 days ago. Nick Novak made four field goals for the Chargers (3-1), who won their third straight game. Blake Bortles, who was selected third overall in May's draft, made his first career start, throwing for 253 yards on a 29-of-37 completion rate with a touchdown and two interceptions in the loss. Toby Gerhart rushed for 32 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown and Nic Jacobs added a receiving score for Jacksonville (0-4). The Chargers scored the final 23 points of the game.

Final Score: Minnesota 41, Atlanta 28

Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Teddy Bridgewater out-gunned Matt Ryan in his first NFL start, passing for 317 yards to lead the Minnesota Vikings to a 41-28 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Bridgewater, who ran for a touchdown but didn't pass for any, injured his ankle late in the fourth quarter on a drive that ended with the Vikings taking a gamble on fourth down at the 1-yard line. It worked, with Matt Asiata's touchdown giving the Vikings the lead for good with 10:50 remaining. Asiata scored three times and Jerick McKinnon rushed for 135 yards as the Vikings (2-2) won for the first time in three games since star running back Adrian Peterson was indicted on child-abuse charges and deactivated. Ryan threw for 298 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for Atlanta (2-2), which played 10 days after its last game, a 56-14 rout of Tampa Bay on Thursday night. The Vikings, already without Peterson for who knows how long, lost quarterback Matt Cassel to a foot injury he suffered last week against New Orleans and now will wait for MRI results on Bridgewater's ankle.

Final Score: San Francisco 26, Philadelphia 21

Santa Clara, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Francisco 49ers stymied Philadelphia's potent offensive attack and had a late goal-line stand, holding off the Eagles 26-21 to hand them their first loss of the season on Sunday. Frank Gore carried the ball 24 times for 119 yards and had a career-long 55- yard touchdown catch for the 49ers (2-2), who avoided a three-game losing streak. Colin Kaepernick was 17-of-30 for 218 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the triumph. Nick Foles completed just 21-of-43 passes for 195 yards with two interceptions and LeSean McCoy struggled to find holes behind Philadelphia's makeshift offensive line, running for just 17 yards on 10 carries for the Eagles (3-1).

Final Score: Dallas 38, New Orleans 17

Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Dallas head coach Jason Garrett was determined to run the ball more in 2014. That renewed focus on the rushing attack is starting to churn out results. DeMarco Murray ran for 149 yards and two touchdowns and the Cowboys routed the New Orleans Saints 38-17 on Sunday night. Aided by an offensive line that has added three first-round selections -- Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick and Zack Martin -- in the last four years, Murray leads the NFL with 534 yards on the ground. He has gone over 100 yards rushing in each of his first four games. He averaged a healthy 6.2 yards on 24 carries for the Cowboys (3-1), who raced out to a 24-0 halftime lead and never looked back in their third straight win. Dallas moved to 14-1 when Murray runs the ball at least 20 times. Tony Romo was 22-of-29 for 262 yards and three touchdowns, Terrance Williams had six receptions for 77 yards and two scores and Dez Bryant added three catches for 44 yards and a touchdown in the triumph. Drew Brees completed 32-of-44 passes for 340 yards with two touchdowns and an interception and Jimmy Graham hauled in eight throws for 86 yards and a score for New Orleans (1-3), which fell to 0-3 on the road this season.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

Final Score: NY Giants 45, Washington 14

Landover, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Giants may have finally found their tight end of the future. Eli Manning tossed three of his four touchdown passes to Larry Donnell, who became the first Giants tight end to haul in three scores in 52 years, and New York routed the Washington Redskins, 45-14, on Thursday night. New York has employed five different starting tight ends since Jeremy Shockey's departure in 2007, with the Giants' leading one averaging 42 receptions for 539 yards during the six-year span. Shockey, meanwhile, averaged 62 catches and 705 yards a season during his six- year stint with the Giants from 2002-2007. Donnell finished with 54 yards on seven receptions for New York (2-2), which has won its last two games after beginning 0-2. Joe Walton was the last Giants tight end to score three touchdowns in 1962. Manning, who also added a score on the ground, completed 28-of-39 passes for 300 yards. Rueben Randle posted eight catches for 89 yards and Victor Cruz caught six balls for 108 yards in the triumph. After going 30-of-48 for a career-high 427 yards and three touchdowns in his first start of the year for the injured Robert Griffin III Sunday against Philadelphia, Kirk Cousins came back down to earth Thursday. He was 19-of-33 with a touchdown and four interceptions -- all in the second half. He also lost a fumble. Alfred Morris carried the ball 12 times for 63 yards and a score for the Redskins (1-3), who have lost their last two games.
