ST. LOUIS – St. Louis cornerback Cortland Finnegan sustained a thigh injury in the second quarter of the Rams' game against San Francisco on Thursday night and his return was questionable.
Finnegan was covering Anquan Boldin on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Colin Kaepernick 6:20 before halftime. Finnegan did not play the rest of the half.
San Francisco backup wide receiver Quinton Patton's return also was questionable after a first-quarter foot injury.
