Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon says the Panthers aren't going to change much now that they've moved from the Big East to the ACC.

Dixon says Pitt will continue to play aggressive defense and wear teams down. He brushed off the notion the Panthers aren't equipped to play in the up-tempo ACC, saying most of the schools in the now 15-team league play at the same pace as the schools in the Big East.

Pitt is coming off a 24-9 season that saw them finish a surprising fourth in the Big East. The Panthers fell to Wichita State in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Shockers went on to the Final Four.

The Panthers, who begin practice on Saturday, open the season on Nov. 8 against Savannah State.
