Real Madrid survives at Elche

After a scoreless opening period, the Portuguese winger broke the deadlock with a free kick through the Elche wall in the 51st minute.

But the visitors still managed to claim all three points as Pepe was the beneficiary of a generous penalty decision a minute later. Ronaldo stepped up to convert the ensuing attempt, bringing his season tally to six goals in La Liga play.
