The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets will share the duties as host for the 2015 All-Star Game festivities.
The site of the 64th All-Star Game, to be played on Sunday, Feb. 15, will be the Knicks' home of Madison Square Garden, while the Nets and the Barclays Center will host the events on Friday and Saturday, including the slam dunk contest and 3-point shootout.
"New York offers an extraordinary opportunity to host NBA All-Star events at two world-class venues," NBA commissioner David Stern said in a statement Wednesday. "We look forward to celebrating our game with basketball fans across the entire city, in all five boroughs."
The Knicks last hosted the All-Star Game in 1998, while the Nets only staged the event once when they were based in New Jersey, back in 1982.
The 2014 All-Star Game will be held in New Orleans.
