Barcelona scored a pair of goals inside the first 10 minutes of play on Tuesday as the defending champions rolled to a comfortable 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad at the Nou Camp to remain perfect this season.

Brazilian starlet Neymar opened the scoring for the Catalans just five minutes into the game and Lionel Messi netted his seventh goal of the season just three minutes later to double his club's advantage.

The champions made it a 3-0 advantage in the 23rd minute through a goal from Sergio Busquets and took the margin into the break.

After the break, Sociedad managed to pull one back through a goal from Alberto de la Bella in the 64th minute, but the Catalans restored their three-goal margin when Marc Bartra hit the back of the net 13 minutes from time.

The result sees Barcelona improve to six wins from its first six league matches for 18 points, while Real Sociedad remain on six points from six games.

Levante 1, Valladolid 1

Valencia, Spain - Valladolid earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Levante on Tuesday despite playing the entire second half with 10 men at the Ciutat de Valencia.

The home side struck first in the 36th minute with a goal from Papa Babacar Diawara, but Valladolid answered six minutes later through Javy Guerra to put the sides back on level terms.

Valladolid, however, was dealt a blow just a minute before the break when Zakara Bergdich was shown a straight red card. Moments later Levante had an opportunity to grab the lead back, but Andreas Ivanschitz failed to convert the penalty kick that resulted from Bergdich's dismissal.

The result sees Valladolid improve to five points from six games, while Levante jumps to seventh place with seven points.

Atletico Madrid 2, Osasuna 1

Madrid, Spain - Diego Costa bagged a first-half brace on Tuesday as Atletico Madrid held on for a 2-1 result against Osasuna at the Vicente Calderon.

Costa opened the scoring for Atletico in the 18th minutes and quickly completed his double just seven minutes later to give his side an early two-goal margin.

Oriol Magem pulled one back for Osasuna three minutes before the break, but the visiting side was unable to find an equalizer over the final 45 minutes as Atletico collected the three points.

Malaga 2, Almeria 0

Malaga, Spain - Fernando Tissone and Francisco Portillo scored second-half tallies to lift Malaga to a 2-0 victory against newly-promoted Almeria on Tuesday at the Estadio La Rosaleda.

After a scoreless first 45 minutes, Tissone opened the scoring for the hosts with 22 minutes to play and Portillo put the result away with a goal in the first minute of stoppage time to ensure his team earned three points.

Malaga improves to seventh place in La Liga on eight points with the result, while Osasuna has just one win in its first six games to sit in 18th place.
