Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a one-year contract extension with French champions Paris Saint-Germain, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Ibrahimovic, 31, joined PSG from AC Milan in July 2012 and scored a league-best 30 goals last season in his first year in the French capital, leading the club to its first domestic league title since 1993-94.
"I don't see a more ambitious club in Europe than Paris Saint-Germain," Ibrahimovic said. "My wish is that Paris Saint-Germain is my last big club. This club is like me: the dream is never big enough."
"The desire of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of the best players in the world, to leave a long and lasting legacy at Paris Saint-Germain is a very strong sign," added club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. "Together, we share the same ambition, to take the club to the summits of the European game."
Ibrahimovic, a Swedish international, has also had stints with Barcelona, Ajax and Juventus.
