Delbonis dismissed Korean wild card Hyeon Chung 6-4, 6-2, while Mannarino handled German Daniel Brands 6-3, 6-4 on the hardcourts at Putra Indoor Stadium.
This week's top seeds are French Open runner-up David Ferrer and U.S. Open semifinalist Stan Wawrinka.
