Former Philadelphia staff ace Roy Halladay can deal Miami its 100th loss of the season on Monday night when the Phillies visit the Marlins to open a three-game series.
Halladay is 9-5 in 17 career starts against the Marlins, including a 6-4 victory in his most recent start on Sept. 17 in Philadelphia.
In that game, the former three-time 20-game winner allowed a single run on four hits in six innings, while walking three and striking out two.
It was his second win in five starts since returning from an extended stretch on the disabled list.
He was 2-4 with an 8.65 earned run average in 34 1/3 innings before the hiatus, but has trimmed the ERA to 6.71 and allowed 14 runs in 27 1/3 innings since.
