Andre Stolz parred the fifth playoff hole on Saturday to edge Michael Wright and win the South Pacific Open Championship.

Stolz fired a 5-under-par 66 in the final round at Tina Golf Club, while Wright shot 69, as both players finished 72 holes at 16-under-par 268.

In the playoff at the par-4 18th, four consecutive matching pars led to a fifth extra hole, where Wright found the left lateral water hazard, allowing Stolz to secure his first win since the 2011 Thailand Open with a par.

"It's good to finally have a win," said Stolz, who earned his fifth PGA Tour Australasia victory. "To remind myself that I can get the job done when I need to."

Matthew Griffin shot 69 to grab solo third at 14-under, one stroke ahead of Christopher Campbell, who carded a 66 in the final round to take fourth place.

Clint Rice (68) and Brett Rankin (69) tied for fifth at 12-under, while Rohan Blizard (71) and Theodore Coroneo (72) shared seventh at minus-10.
