Indianapolis, IN – The Indianapolis Colts have ruled safety LaRon Landry out for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers with an ankle injury that has kept him out of practice the entire week.
The Colts could also be without a few more defensive starters when they travel to Candlestick Park. Inside linebacker Pat Angerer is doubtful with a knee problem, while safety Antoine Bethea (toe) and end Cory Redding (back) are listed as questionable.
Angerer missed the season opener against Oakland with a concussion before returning for Sunday's 24-20 loss to Miami. Bethea did take part in Friday's practice on a limited basis after sitting out the previous two days, while Redding was held out of Friday's session.
On a positive note, linebacker Kavell Conner appears ready to return to action after being rendered inactive the first two games by a sprained ankle. He practiced in full this week and is probable to face the 49ers, possibly in Angerer's place.
The prognosis is also good at wide receiver, where T.Y. Hilton and Darrius Heyward-Bey are both probable for Sunday's test despite recent ailments. Hilton, coming off a six-catch, 124-yard effort against the Dolphins, has been limited in practice by a sore groin, while Heyward-Bey exited the Miami game with bruised ribs.
Center Samson Satele has been termed questionable with an elbow injury, but was a full participant in both Wednesday and Thursday's practices.
