Jeff Carter had two goals and an assist, Matt Frattin scored his first goal for Los Angeles, and the Kings beat the Anaheim Ducks 6-0 in a preseason game Tuesday night.

Frattin and Drew Doughty each had a goal and two assists. Anze Kopitar and Scott Sabourin also scored as the Kings dominated a preseason Freeway Faceoff. Jonathan Quick got his first preseason action for the Kings, stopping all 12 shots he faced in the first two periods.

Viktor Fasth made 23 saves and stopped Kyle Clifford's penalty shot early in the second period for Anaheim.

John Gibson stopped five of eight shots for Anaheim in a shaky third period for the touted American goalie prospect. He gave up two goals to Carter, including a breakaway with 7:55 to play.
