Sylvia Fowles from the Chicago Sky and Maya Moore of the Minnesota Lynx have been selected as the WNBA's Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month for September.

Both also won the awards in August, when Fowles helped lead the Sky to a 9-3 record by averaging 18.1 points and 11.2 rebounds and Moore averaged 21.6 points, the highest mark in the West.

Fowles topped all WBNA players in rebounding (11.6 rpg) and field goal percentage (.569) in September, while ranking second in blocks per game (3.0) and averaging 15.6 points per contest. She also notched double-doubles in three of Chicago's five games during the month.

Moore's 18.0 points per game in five September outings helped the Lynx capture the West's No. 1 overall seed for the upcoming playoffs. The standout forward added 3.2 assists and a .523 field goal percentage over that stretch.
