Ravens running back Ray Rice has left their game against Cleveland with an apparent hip injury.

Rice went down without contact with 12:01 left and Baltimore leading 7-6 on Sunday. He stayed on the field for several minutes before being taken to the sideline and into the locker room.

Team officials say Rice was having his left hip examined.

At the time, he had 13 carries for 36 yards.

Rice is a three-time Pro Bowler who ranks second in Ravens history with more than 5,500 yards rushing.
