Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh might not miss any time for his low hit Sunday. But it does seem likely he will have to pay up.

Suh is not expected to be suspended but is likely to receive a "heavy" fine, according to NFL.com.

The Pro Bowl tackle hit Vikings center John Sullivan on the knees while Sullivan was trailing an interception return by Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy during Detroit's 34-24 win. Suh was flagged for the block, negating Levy's touchdown.

The NFL fined Suh $30,000 last year for unnecessary roughness because he kicked Houston quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin area. He was suspended for two games in 2011 after he stomped on Green Bay's Evan Dietrich-Smith.

Suh has also been fined in previous seasons for roughing up a trio of quarterbacks in separate incidents: Cincinnati's Andy Dalton, Chicago's Jay Cutler and Cleveland's Jake Delhomme.
