The New York Jets re-signed Brady Quinn on Monday, two days after releasing the quarterback.

Quinn was originally signed by the club a week ago following the release of Graham Harrell.

Quinn was selected by Cleveland with the 22nd overall pick of the 2007 draft and spent his first three seasons with the Browns. He also spent two seasons with Denver and last year appeared in 10 games for Kansas City.

The Notre Dame product signed with Seattle this offseason, but was among the Seahawks' final roster cuts. Over six seasons, Quinn has thrown for 3,043 yards with 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.

Linebacker Danny Lansanah, promoted from the Jets' practice squad once Quinn was released, was removed from the active roster.

The Jets also signed wide receiver Rahsaan Vaughn to the practice squad.
