The Dallas Cowboys forced six turnovers and scored two defensive touchdowns in their 36-31 victory over the New York Giants in the season opener.

They also gave up 450 yards passing to Eli Manning and didn't secure the win until an onside kick even after the Giants matched the most giveaways they've allowed since 1987.

Linebacker Sean Lee said the Cowboys have been working on turnovers "non-stop," but the inability to slow New York otherwise means they have to improve heading into Sunday's visit to Kansas City.

Dallas will be trying for its first 2-0 start since 2008.

Tony Romo played through a rib injury and had two touchdown passes to Jason Witten. X-rays Monday were negative.
