Defensive end Carlos Dunlap sums it up in three words: "This one hurts."

The Cincinnati Bengals played an impressive opener for three quarters in Chicago, only to bungle it away at the end. Cincinnati's avalanche of mistakes allowed the Bears to rally for a 24-21 win.

The biggest mistakes came from their best players. All-Pro receiver A.J. Green let a pass slip off his hands for an interception. Linebacker Rey Maualuga was flagged for unnecessary roughness that allowed Chicago to run out the clock. And the defense twice had to call timeout because it didn't have the right number of players on the field, leaving Cincinnati unable to stop the clock.

The only bright side: The rest of the AFC North also lost.
