Oakland coach Dennis Allen started Terrelle Pryor at quarterback Sunday at Indianapolis.

Allen tried to keep his decision a secret right up until game time. But the move was hardly a surprise.

All week, the speculation was that Pryor would get the nod over Matt Flynn, who has a sore elbow on his throwing arm. The thought also was that with Pryor being more mobile, that would work to the Raiders' advantage behind an inexperienced offensive line.

Third-string quarterback Matt McGloin is inactive for the game.
