International Automobile Federation President Jean Todt has confirmed he will stand for re-election later this year.
Speaking before Sunday's Italian Grand Prix, Todt says "there is no speculation: I will go for it."
Todt has been the FIA president since 2009. He faces competition from David Ward, a former adviser to ex-president Max Mosley.
Ward published a manifesto on Friday, calling for a range of reforms and saying that Todt has "fallen short" on what he proposed four years ago.
