Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans have placed fullback Quinn Johnson on injured reserve because of a quad problem.
Johnson was set to enter his fifth NFL season and third with Tennessee. He started eight of the 16 games he played for the Titans last year and had just five rushing yards with five receptions for 40 yards.
The 26-year-old LSU product played his first two seasons with Green Bay and was a member of the Packers' Super Bowl championship team after the 2010 season. He first joined Tennessee after a trade from Green Bay in 2011, but was waived by the Titans after four games and was claimed by Denver.
Tennessee filled the roster spot by promoting fullback Collin Mooney from the practice squad.
