Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger will be arraigned Tuesday on charges he assaulted his girlfriend over the weekend, according to a report.

Sullinger turned himself in to police in Waltham, Mass., on Tuesday morning after a warrant was put out for his arrest, according to the Boston Herald. Police told the paper Sullinger wasn't present when they arrived on a call to his residence over the weekend.

He will be arraigned on charges of assault and battery, malicious destruction of property and witness intimidation, according to the paper.

Sullinger, 21, was a first-round draft pick of the Celtics in 2012 and averaged 6.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 45 games during his rookie season.
