Self-confidence isn't going to be an issue for Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson when it comes to opening the season against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

The ever-colorful player on Monday said he has one good reason to believe the Bills will have no difficulty competing against their AFC East nemesis. Namely: He'll be on the field.

Though saying he respects the Patriots' defense, Johnson added he doesn't believe they have anyone that can stop him.

Those are eyebrow raising words coming from a player well aware of the Bills' dreadful history against the Patriots. Buffalo is 2-22 in its past 24 meetings against New England, and 1-17 since 2004.

What boosts Johnson's confidence is the speedy receivers the Bills have added to complement him.
