EUROPEAN TOUR - OMEGA EUROPEAN MASTERS, Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club, Crans Montana, Switzerland - The European Tour is in Switzerland this week for the Omega European Masters.

Last year, Richie Ramsay posted four rounds in the 60s and cruised to a 4- shot win.

Ramsay will be on hand to defend his title, while 49-year-old Miguel Angel Jimenez will make his 25th consecutive appearance in the event.

Golf Channel has coverage of all four rounds.

Next week, the European Tour heads to The Netherlands for the KLM Open, which Peter Hanson won last year.

CHAMPIONS TOUR

MONTREAL CHAMPIONSHIP, Vallee du Richelieu Rouville, Sainte-Julie, Quebec, Canada - The Champions Tour remains in Canada this week for the Montreal Championship.

Last year, when the event was played in June, Mark Calcavecchia closed with an 8-under 64 to come from behind and win the tournament.

Calcavecchia will be on hand this week, as will Charles Schwab Cup points leader Kenny Perry, who won two majors earlier this season.

Golf Channel will cover all three rounds.

The Champions Tour is off next week before moving to the Aloha Sate for the Pacific Links Hawaii Championship, where Willie Wood won last year.

CHIQUITA CLASSIC, River Run Country Club, Davidson, North Carolina - The Web.com Tour Finals continue this week with the Chiquita Classic.

Last year, when this event was part of the regular-season schedule, Russell Henley parred the first playoff hole to defeat Morgan Hoffmann and Patrick Cantlay.

Henley will not defend his title, as he has moved on to the PGA Tour, and this week's participants will continue their quest to join him there. The Chiquita Classic is the second leg of the four-event Web.com Tour Finals, which features the top 75 on the Web.com Tour money list, and players No. 126-200 on the PGA Tour's FedExCup points duking it out for 50 available 2013-2014 PGA Tour cards

Golf Channel will have coverage of all four rounds.

The finals continue next week with the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, which Ben Kohles won in 2012.

PGA TOUR CANADA

CAPE BRETON CELTIC CLASSIC, the Lakes Golf Club, Ben Eoin, Nova Scotia, Canada - The penultimate event of the PGA Tour Canada's season gets underway this week in Nova Scotia.

The Cape Breton Celtic Classic is the second straight new event on the tour.

It is also the final event before the PGA Tour Canada Championship, which takes place next week. Eugene Wong won the championship last year.
