Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez says his left shoulder is fine and that he'll be full strength for this week's game against Southern Mississippi.

Martinez fell on his non-throwing shoulder in the third quarter against Wyoming and left the stadium with an ice pack on it.

Coach Bo Pelini described Martinez's injury as a bruise Monday.

Martinez said he was sore after the 37-34 win over the Cowboys and that he needs to get used to contact after having not taken any significant hits since last season.

Pelini pointed out that Martinez doesn't get hit in practice so his routine will be the same usual this week.
