The New York Jets signed free agent quarterback Brady Quinn on Monday.
Quinn spent the 2012 season with the Kansas City Chiefs and signed with Seattle in the offseason, but was released by the Seahawks on Saturday.
The 22nd overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft appeared in 10 games with the Chiefs and started eight, finishing with 1,141 passing yards, two touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Over six seasons with the Cleveland Browns (2007-2009), Denver Broncos (2010-2011) and Chiefs, Quinn has thrown for 3.043 yards, 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.
Quinn will likely serve as the team's fourth quarterback, joining an injured Mark Sanchez, rookie Geno Smith and Matt Simms as the team's signal-callers.
Additionally, the Jets released quarterback Graham Harrell, who signed with the team on Wednesday after he was released by the Green Bay Packers.
The Texas Tech product appeared in four games for the Packers last season, completing 2-of-4 passes for 20 yards.
