The Browns continued overhauling their 53-man roster, terminating the contracts of running back Brandon Jackson and Kellen Davis.

The team also claimed six players off waivers Sunday while waiving linebacker L.J. Fort, offensive lineman Caylin Hauptmann, offensive lineman Jarrod Shaw and fullback Brad Smelley.

Cleveland's roster is in flux one week before the season opener against the Miami Dolphins.

The Browns remain without a kicker after terminating veteran Shayne Graham's contract and cutting rookie Brandon Bogotay on Saturday.

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski said in a release that the team is "not done."

Also, the Browns claimed tight ends MarQueis Gray and Keavon Miller, running backs Dennis Johnson and Bobby Rainey, offensive lineman Patrick Lewis and linebacker Brandon Magee off waivers.

Chudzinski said he likes the depth the team has added at running back since losing Dion Lewis and Montario Hardesty to season-ending injuries.
