Three former draft picks were among the 22 players released by the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday.

Offensive lineman Ben Ijalana was a second-round pick in 2011 but missed most of the last two seasons with knee injuries. Defensive tackle Drake Nevis was a third-round pick in 2011 who finished last season on injured reserve. And quarterback Chandler Harnish was the final pick in the 2012 draft.

Linebacker Daniel Adongo, the African rugby player who never made a preseason appearance, and linebacker Josh McNary, who spent the last two years in the Army, also were released.

Others waived included defensive backs Larry Asante, Marshay Green and Sheldon Price; offensive linemen Thomas Austin, Bradley Sowell and Lee Ziemba; defensive linemen Lawrence Guy and Martin Tevaseu; and tight end Dominique Jones.
