Ted Ginn Jr. capped a sparkling final two weeks of the preseason with a pair of touchdown catches and 149 yards receiving in Carolina's 25-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ginn ran back a punt 74 yards for a score in last week's win at Baltimore.

Derek Anderson threw a 35-yard TD pass to Ginn less than three minutes into the game. The two connected on an 87-yard score in the second quarter.

Cam Newton didn't play for the Panthers, leaving the starting duties to Anderson, who went 10-of-15 for 220 yards. Jimmy Clausen finished 5-of-8 for 26 yards for Carolina, which finished 3-1 in the preseason, and opens the regular season at home against Seattle.

Graham Gano kicked three field goals for the Panthers.

The Steelers, who went 0-4 in the preseason, will open their regular season slate at home against Tennessee next Sunday.

Rookie Landry Jones started under center for the Steelers, who rested Ben Roethlisberger. Jones played the entire game and went 16-of-35 for 189 yards with a touchdown, but was picked off three times.

David Paulson caught a 13-yard scoring pass from Jones to tie the game, but Ginn's second TD grab boosted the Panthers to a 17-7 cushion.
