Candace Parker was one of four Los Angeles players to score double-digits with 28 points, and the Sparks beat the Connecticut Sun, 91-78.
Nneka Ogwumike recorded a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds, Lindsey Harding scored 18 points and Alana Beard had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Sparks, who have won eight of their last nine games.
Iziane Castro Marques and Tina Charles scored 19 and 18 points, respectively for the Sun, who have lost five straight.
Connecticut scored the first two points of the game, but Los Angeles would take the lead just seconds later and hold on to it for the remainder of the game.
The Sparks scored 29 points in the first, with Parker scoring 12, and by halftime, they led 49-35.
Connecticut got within 73-68 following a Castro Marques 3-pointer with 6:47 remaining in the game, but Parker stemmed the tide with a jumper to begin an 11-2 run.
