Tim Tebow is still a member of the New England Patriots, for now.

The heavily criticized quarterback was not among the club's remaining two cuts to reach the NFL's mandated 75-man roster limit on Tuesday.

Tebow didn't play in the Patriots' third preseason game, a turnover-prone, 40-9 thumping by the Lions in Detroit.

After completing 4-of-12 passes for 55 yards at Philadelphia, the Florida standout connected on just one of his seven throws against Tampa Bay and finished with negative passing yardage (minus-1).

The Patriots released pair of rookies, tight end Evan Landi and defensive lineman Anthony Rashad White.
