Berea, OH – The Cleveland Browns have put running back Dion Lewis on injured reserve after he had surgery last week to repair a broken left fibula.
Lewis, who came into this summer as the likely backup to Trent Richardson, was hurt during an exhibition game against Detroit on Aug. 15.
Last season, Lewis played in nine games for Philadelphia and had 13 rushes for 69 yards and a touchdown.
