The Hague, Netherlands – Roda netted a pair of goals in each half on Saturday as the club rolled to a comfortable 4-0 drubbing of Den Haag at the Kyocera Stadion.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 25th minute as Kees Luijckx fired one into the back of the net and Henk Dijkhuizen added a second goal just before the break to give his side a two-goal margin.
After the intermission Roda put the result away with goals from Mark Jan Fledderus in the 53rd minute and Mitchell Donald 14 minutes from time to seal three points.
The result sees Roda up to fifth place in the table with seven points from its first four matches. Den Haag, meanwhile, has one victory in its first four games.
Elsewhere in the Eredivisie on Saturday, Sander Duits and Aurelien Joachim scored second-half goals as RKC Waalwijk battled back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with NEC.
PSV Eindhoven received a goal from Park Ji-Sung four minutes from time to save a point in a 1-1 stalemate against Heracles, while Guyon Fernandez and Rochdi Achenteh scored as Zwolle topped Cambuur Leeuwarden, 2-0, to remain a perfect four wins from four matches this season.
