The New York Mets have recalled outfielder Lucas Duda from Triple-A Las Vegas and optioned outfielder Mike Baxter to the minor league club.

Duda was sent to Las Vegas earlier this month after being activated off the 15-day disabled list. He had been sidelined with a left intercostal strain.

The 27-year-old was hitting .306 in 18 games for the 51s. In 68 games for the Mets before the demotion, he was batting .235 with 11 homers and 23 runs batted in.

Baxter has appeared in 58 games for the Mets this season and is hitting .210 with four homers and 13 RBI.
