Richard Childress Racing announced on Monday that Ty Dillon will compete in the Nationwide Series full-time in 2014.

Dillon, the 21-year-old grandson of Richard Childress and the elder brother of Austin Dillon, will drive the No. 3 Chevrolet in Nationwide next season. He is currently fourth in the Camping World Truck Series point standings. Ty will replace Austin in the No. 3 Nationwide car, as Austin is expected to graduate to the Sprint Cup Series.

RCR also announced that Yuengling beer will sponsor Ty Dillon's team in eight Nationwide races next year.

"I'm honored to be able to represent an iconic brand such as Yuengling," said Dillon, who has made eight career Nationwide starts. "I'm excited to share my first full year in the Nationwide Series with them as they venture into the sport for the first time this season."

Austin Dillon had been atop the Nationwide point standings, but after finishing 21st in last Saturday's race at Mid-Ohio, he fell 15 points behind new leader Sam Hornish Jr.

Ty Dillon has one truck win this season, which in June at Kentucky.
