LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Chicago Bears will stick with their rookies at right guard, right tackle and middle linebacker in their dress rehearsal game for the regular season.
Guard Kyle Long, tackle Jordan Mills and middle linebacker Jonathan Bostic all will start Friday against Oakland. Usually the players who start the third preseason game will start the opener.
The play of Mills and Long on the right side helped the Bears to a 33-28 preseason win over San Diego last week. Bostic is playing because starter D.J. Williams is out with a calf injury, and coach Marc Trestman indicated it could be 12-14 days before Williams returns.
