Brandon Weeden completed 8-of-12 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns as the Cleveland Browns cruised to a 24-6 win over the Detroit Lions in the second week of preseason action.

Jordan Cameron caught three passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns and Brandon Jackson hauled in three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown for the Browns, who finished 5-11 last season. Backup quarterback Jason Campbell completed 12- of-14 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown and running back Trent Richardson rushed for 33 yards on six carries in the victory.

Matthew Stafford connected on 11-of-16 passes for 74 yards and running back Reggie Bush rushed for 15 yards on eight carries and caught five passes for 44 yards for the Lions, who finished 4-12 and dropped their final eight games last season.

Brandon Bogotay put Cleveland on the board with a 43-yard field goal with just over 6 1/2 minutes left in the first quarter.

Weeden found Cameron in the end zone for a 10-yard touchdown nearly three minutes later to give the Browns a 10-0 edge.

Weeden hooked up with Cameron for a 5-yard score early in the second frame to give Cleveland a 17-0 cushion.

The Lions finally got on the board with 4:45 remaining in the second after David Akers connected on a 48-yard field goal.

Harvard Rugland buried a 33-yarder in the third quarter to make it a two- possession game, but Campbell hit Jackson with a 14-yard touchdown pass in the fourth to make it 24-6.
