Few other golfers have received so much attention for winning so little than Michelle Wie.

That doesn't figure to change this week at the Solheim Cup. Even though Wie hasn't won in three years, she was a captain's pick for the second time. It stands out even more because one of the players left off the team won on the LPGA Tour this year.

The 23-year-old from Hawaii is no stranger to criticism. And that's one reason U.S. captain Meg Mallon picked Wie for the team that will try to win back the cup from Europe at Colorado Golf Club.

Mallon says a captain's pick typically faces more pressure. And she says Wie has lived with that kind of scrutiny her entire life.
