Milwaukee, WI – The Washington Nationals placed pitcher Ross Ohlendorf on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with right shoulder inflammation.
Ohlendorf is 2-0 with a 1.85 ERA in two starts and eight relief appearances for the Nationals this season.
Xavier Cedeno was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to fill the roster spot. The southpaw has pitched in two games for the Nationals since being claimed off waivers from Houston in April.
