The Milwaukee Bucks announced the signing of rookie forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, the team's first-round pick in this year's NBA Draft, on Tuesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 18-year-old Antetokounmpo was taken by the Bucks with the 15th overall selection following a promising season with Filathlitikos in his native Greece, during which the 6-foot-9 project averaged 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 26 games.

Antetokounmpo is expected to begin his NBA career as a deep reserve on a Milwaukee roster that also added veterans Carlos Delfino, O.J. Mayo and Gary Neal to bolster the wing positions during the offseason.
