NASCAR is set for its 20th Sprint Cup race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Former IMS president Tony George extended the official invitation for NASCAR to come aboard to the famed track in 1993. Jeff Gordon won the inaugural race on Aug. 6, 1994.

Gordon and Jimmie Johnson both have four wins at the site of the Indianapolis 500.

A.J. Foyt, Rick Mears and Al Unser won four Indianapolis 500s. It's possible the first five-time winner at the track will come from NASCAR.

IMS President Doug Boles said the track would have around 100,000 fans on Sunday.
