LAS VEGAS – Paul George says his experience with Team USA last summer showed him how to be a star.
He was clearly listening to what LeBron James and the rest of the Olympians were telling him.
Last year, George was one of several young players brought to Las Vegas to practice against the United States Olympic team. He followed with a breakout season to help the Indiana Pacers reach the Eastern Conference finals.
George returned to Las Vegas this week as one of a handful of promising young players expected to one day take over for Team USA.
Almost every Olympian from London is sitting out this four-day camp. George says he's trying to pass on some of the lessons he learned to new faces this year.
