UNC Charlotte's new football program has added a Sept. 21 game at James Madison after canceling a Nov. 16 game at Old Dominion, according to reports.
The Harrisonburg (Va.) News-Record and Virginia-Pilot reported the change. It comes less than a week after ODU canceled a visit to Charlotte next year.
Ironically, James Madison was ODU's biggest rival in the two seasons in which the Monarchs played in CAA Football.
The JMU-Charlotte deal is for two years.
