The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim activated pitcher Tommy Hanson off the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.
Hanson was placed on the DL on June 27, retroactive to June 21, due to a forearm strain in his right arm. He will start tonight against the Minnesota Twins.
The 26-year-old right-handed hurler owns a 4-2 record with a 5.10 ERA in nine starts this season.
The Angels had optioned pitcher Michael Roth to Double-A Arkansas after Monday's game to make room for Hanson.
