Jamie Lovemark carded a 5-under 66 on Sunday to grab a 1-stroke victory at the Midwest Classic.

Lovemark captured his second career victory on the Web.com Tour at 18-under- par 266. His last win came at the 2010 Mexico Open.

"It feels great to be playing well again and this win is a huge relief for me," said Lovemark. "It was nice to finally put four good rounds together."

Mark Anderson shot a 6-under 65 at Nicklaus Golf Club to jump into second place at 17-under, while overnight leader Chesson Hadley managed just a 1- under 70 to finish in a tie with Matt Davidson (66) for third at 16-under 268.

Edward Loar matched the low round of the day with a 7-under 64 to vault into solo fifth place at minus-15.

Hadley entered the final round with a 1-stroke advantage over Paul Claxton and after they traded birdies at the third, Hadley tripped to a bogey at the fifth to fall into a tie with Claxton at 15-under.

Davidson joined the group as he recorded four birdies over his first six holes before Hadley reclaimed the outright lead with a birdie at the sixth.

Davidson stayed hot with a birdie at the eighth to meet Hadley at 16-under, but followed with a bogey at the ninth to fall a shot off the pace.

Davidson then dropped another shot at the 11th to hand second place to Loar and Lovemark. Claxton fell behind with a bogey at the seventh.

Loar had posted five birdies and an eagle over his first 15 holes, while Lovemark countered a bogey at the third with gains at the first, fifth and 10th to reach 15-under.

Loar parred his final three holes to remain there, but Lovemark was able to join Hadley atop the leaderboard with another birdie at the 13th.

They were then joined by Davidson after his birdie at the 15th and Anderson, who posted birdies at Nos. 6, 7, 13, 15 and 17, to make it a four-way tie for the lead at 16-under.

Hadley and Lovemark, who were playing alongside each other in the final group, both birdied the 15th to move ahead of the pack, but Anderson closed with a birdie at the last to join them.

Lovemark, however, made it two birdies in a row at the 16th to move to 18- under and grab the outright lead for good, as Hadley tripped to a bogey at the 18th to finish two shots off the pace.

Lovemark parred his final two holes to hang on for the win.

"I played well today and it was nice to make birdies coming in on Nos. 17 and 18," Anderson said. "The course played easier because it was a lot softer, but I put myself in position and I couldn't ask for anything more than that."

NOTES: Lovemark collected $108,000 with the win ... Hadley has now earned three top-5 finishes this season, having finished second at the Mid-Atlantic Championship in June and tying for third at the BMW Charity Pro-Am in May ... Matt Hendrix and Alexandre Rocha also shot 64s on Sunday.
