MORRISON, Colo. – Doug Kalitta led Top Fuel qualifying Friday in the Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Speedway with a run of 3.889 seconds at 310.13 mph.
Cruz Pedregon topped the Funny Car field, Allen Johnson led in Pro Stock, and Adam Arana was the fastest in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
Pedregon broke his own track record with a pass of 4.073 at 307.37.
Defending series champion Johnson had a run of 6.949 at 198.23 in a Dodge Avenger, and Arana finished in 7.267 at 182.62 on a Buell.
