The Sacramento Kings officially announced the signing of free-agent forward Carl Landry to a multi-year contract.

Terms were not disclosed, but Yahoo! Sports reported the deal to be worth $26 million over four years.

"Adding Carl provides depth and veteran leadership in our frontcourt," Kings general manager Pete D'Alessandro said in a statement Monday. "His professionalism and workmanlike approach to the game will also serve as a great example to our younger players. We're excited to have him join the team."

The 29-year-old Landry returns to Sacramento after playing parts of the 2009-10 and 2010-11 season with the club. He averaged 10.8 points and 6.0 rebounds off the bench to help the Golden State Warriors reach the second round of the playoffs last season.

For his career, Landry has averaged 11.9 points and 5.3 rebounds in 389 games with Sacramento, Houston, New Orleans and Golden State.
