The Phoenix Coyotes signed first-round pick and forward Max Domi to a three-year, entry-level contract Sunday.

"We are very pleased to sign Max to an entry-level contract," said Coyotes general manager Don Maloney. "Max is a very talented young player with a bright future. He had an impressive prospect development camp and we look forward to watching his progress."

Domi was the 12th overall pick of the 2013 draft, after putting together a monster season for London of the Ontario Hockey League.

The 18-year-old led the Knights in goals (39) and points (87), while tying for the lead in assists (48) and plus-minus (+33) in 64 regular-season games. He contributed 11 goals and 32 points in 21 postseason appearances as London claimed the OHL title and a berth in the Memorial Cup.

Son of noted enforcer Tie Domi, the younger Domi has totaled 60 goals and 136 points in 126 games in Canadian juniors over the last two seasons.
