Broncos, Clady come to terms on 5-year deal

The Denver Broncos made Ryan Clady the third-highest paid offensive tackle on Sunday, with the two sides agreeing to a five-year contract.

According to, Clady will earn a guaranteed $33 million with his new contract, which is worth a full amount of $52.5 million over the length of the deal.

Clady, 26, can earn as much as $57.5 million on the contract. The Cleveland Browns' Joe Thomas and Philadelphia Eagles' Jason Peters are the only tackles in the NFL with richer deals.

Over his five-year career, the Boise State product has started every game for the Broncos since the team drafted him with the 12th overall selection in the 2008 NFL Draft.

In 2012, Clady was ranked the fourth-best left tackle in the league by Pro Football Focus, allowing just one sack to quarterback Peyton Manning.
